Jamiesfeast – On May 8th, 2023, James Cooper (23) walked out of his backdoor following a heated argument with his girlfriend, hoping to calm the situation. Tragically, he was later discovered deceased in a wooded area in Mississippi.
James, a beloved individual hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was known for his amiable nature, as confirmed by his family. Born into a large family, he was one of nineteen children, with four siblings from his mother’s side and fifteen from his father’s side.
In late March 2023, everything seemed to be going smoothly for him. However, his world came crashing down when he discovered his girlfriend with another man in their apartment. Emotions ran high, and James made the difficult decision to move forward and focus on his own life. Little did he know that a month later, he would receive a distressing phone call from his ex-girlfriend.
According to reports, she informed him that she had a limited time left to live. She had been diagnosed with heart failure and expressed the need to be near her family in Mississippi.
On April 23rd, he lovingly drove her up to Mississippi and even shared the memorable journey on Facebook. He described it as peaceful. However, their plan to spend her last days together took an unexpected turn when he moved in with her.
A few days later, another witness stepped forward with a claim. She stated that she had asked a female friend about James’s whereabouts three days prior. According to her friend, James was last seen near the water in the woods, and his mom had confirmed that he was okay.
It turns out that this friend somehow knew where James was, even though his mother had no idea he was missing. And to make things even more awkward, James was actually found in the exact place that this friend had mentioned. So, the question remains: how did this friend know about James’ whereabouts and who is she?
Regrettably, because the case was initially ruled as a suicide, none of the individuals involved, including the girlfriend, have had their identities disclosed. As of now, the family is still in search of answers.
