Texas Republican Questioned Why The GOP Would Help Biden On The Border. ‘he’s Bleeding.’

Jamiesfeast  –  According to Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), Republicans should not make a deal with President Joe Biden on the border issue. He believes that Biden is using the deal as a tactic to enhance his political standing.

During a conversation with CNN, Nehls expressed his belief that Biden’s sudden interest in the border issue is merely a result of his declining approval ratings.

During a conversation with CNN’s Manu Raju, the speaker questioned whether the topic of the southern border would even be discussed if Joe Biden’s approval rate stood at 53%. The speaker emphasized that the current focus on the border is a result of the president’s declining popularity. To resolve this issue, the president is expected to propose a seemingly ineffective bipartisan border security plan in an attempt to regain support.

The dilapidated condition of the border has fueled strong criticisms against Biden and could potentially result in the first impeachment of a Cabinet official in almost 150 years, specifically targeting Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Biden administration has stated that the border crisis is a result of Republicans not engaging in sincere negotiations. They argue that Republicans are intentionally worsening the crisis to tarnish Biden’s image during an election year.
