Nikki Haley Reportedly Seeks Secret Service Protection Due To Increased Threats During Her Campaign

Jamiesfeast – Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley has reportedly asked for Secret Service protection due to an increasing number of threats she has been receiving during her 2024 presidential campaign.

During her campaign in South Carolina, Haley disclosed to The Wall Street Journal that she had made the request.

Despite encountering several challenges, she remains determined to carry out her tasks without any hindrance.

Requests for comment from both Haley’s campaign and the Secret Service have gone unanswered.

Both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are recipients of Secret Service protection. The Secret Service plays a crucial role in safeguarding the president, vice president, and their families, as well as certain high-ranking government officials. Additionally, the agency has been given the authority to provide protection to major party presidential candidates, a privilege that was granted following the tragic assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in 1968.

Haley stands as the final significant contender to Trump in the Republican primary race. She aims to showcase her momentum against Trump by focusing on South Carolina’s Feb. 24 primary. In addition to this, she is also traveling across the country to attend fundraisers and has a scheduled appearance at a rally in California on Wednesday.
