Jamiesfeast – Torre Desmond Gray, Sr., 37, of Temple Hills, has been identified by the agency as the person who was struck and killed by a pickup truck driver on Saturday morning, who first fled the scene but later called police.
According to the police, Gray was walking towards the parked pick-up truck in the 600 block of L Street at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 27. As he approached the driver’s side door, the truck started moving and hit him.
Gray was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Officials have revealed that the driver of the truck initially fled the scene, but subsequently reached out to the authorities. Upon conducting a preliminary investigation, it was discovered that there was some sort of connection between the truck driver and Gray, although the exact nature of their relationship remains uncertain.
