Jamiesfeast – A shooting in Frayser on Monday morning has resulted in one fatality and the detention of another individual.
The shooting occurred at approximately 8:21 a.m. in the 2200 block of Frayser Boulevard, as reported by the Memphis Police. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man who had sustained gunshot wounds.
A man was declared dead at the scene, according to the MPD. They have detained one individual in connection with the incident.
The victim’s family member reported that he was discovered deceased at his workplace, A Better Day Tax Solutions.
According to data from the datahub, this is the third fatal shooting that has occurred within a quarter mile in the past year. In December, a man lost his life on Cassie Avenue. In April, another man was found dead at a car wash located near the intersection of Frayser Boulevard and University Street.
