Police Identify A 27-year-old Upper Marlboro Woman Killed By A Hit-and-run Driver In Capitol Heights

Jamiesfeast – Ayanna Myrick, who lived in Upper Marlboro, was hit by a car, which then left the scene. The Seat Pleasant Police Department found her unconscious near Central Avenue and the Capital Beltway just before 3:30 a.m. on Monday.

The first rescuers said she was dead at the scene.

The driver was going west on Central Avenue near the Beltway when they hit Myrick for no apparent reason and did not stay at the scene of the accident. The make and type of the car are still being looked into.

The Prince George’s County Police Department wants anyone who knows anything about the deadly hit-and-run or the events that led up to it to call them at (301) 731-4422.
