Jamiesfeast – Ryan Joseph Cibula, a resident of Clarksburg, is currently facing charges after an investigation by the university’s police department. The investigation was conducted in response to an indecent exposure incident that occurred outside Elkton Hall in the late afternoon on Monday.
A woman alerted the police about a man exposing himself inside a white van. The incident was observed by a vigilant officer as he was driving east on University Boulevard. The man involved has been identified as Cibula.
The police eventually apprehended Cibula when they intercepted the van on Paint Branch Drive near Engineering Drive. They then transported him to UMPD Headquarters, where he was subsequently released.
Cibula was further connected to two similar incidents that occurred in late January. As a result, a safety notice was distributed to the school community.
Investigators announced on Friday, February 2nd, that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Cibula. The warrant charges him with three counts of indecent exposure.
