Identification Released For 45-year-old Killed After Porsche Collides With Pole In Stamford

Jamiesfeast – On the evening of January 29th, at approximately 8:50 p.m., a devastating crash occurred in Stamford.

According to Stamford Police, a Porsche Cayenne from 2004 was heading eastbound on Jefferson Street towards the Magee Avenue junction. However, it failed to navigate the left curve in the road and collided with a traffic light pole owned by the City of Stamford.

Johny Villard, a 45-year-old resident of Stamford, was the operator and only person in the vehicle. He sustained critical injuries in the collision.

He was taken to Stamford Hospital, where medical professionals declared him deceased.

The investigation is still ongoing.
