Colorado Man Killed In Skydiving Incident Due To Parachute Fail

Jamiesfeast – A tragic incident occurred on Saturday as a Colorado man lost his life due to a parachute malfunction. The unfortunate incident took place when he jumped out of a plane operated by a local skydiving company.

According to the Longmont Public Safety Department, a 36-year-old man, whose identity has not been released by the Boulder County Coroner’s Office, tragically lost his life while wearing a wingsuit.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., police and first responders swiftly arrived at the Vance Brand Municipal Airport in response to reports of a fatality. It was at this location that Mile-Hi Skydiving operates, demanding immediate attention.

According to a report by ABC 7 Denver, the company has been linked to several deaths in 2018, 2019, and 2022. Mile-Hi Skydiving, which has been in operation since 1995, has faced tragic incidents resulting in loss of life.

The death that occurred on Saturday is currently being investigated by officials from the Federal Aviation Administration, as reported by Longmont Public Safety.
