17 Individuals Arrested In Trafficking Operation During Multi-agency Sting In Georgia

Jamiesfeast – The GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT), along with the Richmond Hills Police Department, Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division, collaborated on the operation, as stated in a release. According to officials, the police provided resources to ten sex workers.

The Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, the Richmond Hills Police Department, the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division, and the GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT) organized the operation. According to officials, the police offered help to 10 sex workers.

According to officials from GBI, they stated,

โ€œOperation Not for Saleโ€ involved months of planning and the collaboration of four law enforcement agencies to combat human trafficking.โ€ฏThe arrestees, ranging in age from 21 to 49, traveled from areas around Bryan County, GA with the intent toโ€ฏpurchase sex or sell sex.

The goal of โ€œOperation Not for Saleโ€ was toโ€ฏdraw in sex buyers for demand reduction and draw in sex workers to offer services. The objective was to identifyโ€ฏand arrest pimps and human traffickers through this two-fold approach. The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) also assisted in providing resources to the victims.

The GBI has made the following arrests on charges of pimping:

Davron Jamaal Hinton, a 37-year-old resident of Jacksonville, FL.

Oswaldo Rodriguez Rameriz, a 33-year-old resident of Savannah, GA.

According to the GBI, police have arrested and charged 14 individuals with pandering.

Steven Ray Snelson, a 45-year-old resident of Hinesville, GA,

Antonio Babbs, a 45-year-old resident of Hinesville, GA,

James Rush, a 49-year-old resident of Richmond Hill, GA,

Mario Romero, a 33-year-old resident of Claxton, GA,

Alberto Jay Vadi, a 42-year-old resident of Savannah, GA, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI).

Rakshit Ravi Ramteke is a 21-year-old resident of Savannah, GA.

Miles Diede, a 29-year-old resident of Savannah, GA,

Chiragkumar Patel, a 36-year-old resident of Savannah, GA,

Jason Manuel Herrera, a 39-year-old resident of Savannah, GA, has been charged with a drug-related offense.

George Foster Sharpe, a 38-year-old resident of Savannah, GA,

David Herrera Truijillo, a 37-year-old resident of Eden, GA

Juan Mora Flores, a 48-year-old resident of Washington,

Samuel De’Antayke Sawyer, a 24-year-old resident of Richmond Hill, GA,

Seyth Allan Cambron, a 32-year-old resident of Savannah, GA, is facing an outstanding warrant and a drug charge.

According to GBI officials, they anticipate making additional arrests as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
