Jamiesfeast – A West Memphis Police officer has been apprehended on Friday and is now being charged with several offenses, including first-degree assault, as reported by Arkansas State Police.
Officer Myles Christian Huff, aged 26, faces charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, obstructing governmental operations, and first-degree assault.
In October 2023, the Special Investigations Unit of the Arkansas State Police conducted an investigation into an incident involving Officer Huff. It was alleged that he had brandished his service weapon while he was off duty.
After finishing his shift, Huff found himself caught in an altercation at a West Memphis apartment complex while still in his uniform, according to the police.
Huff turned himself in to the Crittenden County Sheriff’s Office on Friday and was subsequently granted a $3,000 bond.
