Jamiesfeast – The man who died in the partial building collapse in Borough Park has been identified by the police.
Juan Tamay, a 33-year-old construction worker from Queens, tragically lost his life while working on a construction site. The incident occurred when the first floor of the building on 50th Street unexpectedly collapsed, causing Juan to be trapped in the basement.
According to the Department of Buildings, the vacant building has undergone unauthorized structural changes that have compromised its integrity. As a result, the DOB has issued a complete vacate order for the property.
