Jamiesfeast – The West Tennessee Drug Task Force seized illegal substances and more than 2,800 cartons of cigarettes during a traffic check on Friday.
According to officials, agents from the 30th Judicial District’s Highway Interdiction Unit stopped a Ford F-350 on I-40 for a traffic violation.
According to sources, the truck was searched and found to contain 1/2 pound of Khat, an imported hallucinogenic substance with a high potential for misuse, as well as 2,861 boxes of untaxed cigarettes.
The things were seized, and one man was arrested. The man’s identity has not been revealed.
