Jamiesfeast – Forensic scientists have identified skeletal remains discovered on the east side of Kansas City in 2022.
Kevin Dewayne Cochran was discovered dead in October 2022 near E. 30th Terrace and Van Brunt Boulevard, according to Kansas City police. The man, who was 35 years old, was said to be from Oklahoma.
When the body parts were found, the KCPD said officers thought they might have been there for a few months.
Cochran’s body parts were identified by a private company that uses forensic genetics.
A KCPD representative said that the case is being looked into as a death investigation because there are no signs of foul play.
The medical examiner has not yet made a decision on what caused Cochran’s death, though.
