Jamiesfeast – A Memphis man was arrested in Tipton County with a lot of different drugs on him. He is now facing multiple charges.
On Thursday, 47-year-old Ravon S. Williams was arrested and charged with having a Schedule I drug on purpose, a Schedule II drug on purpose, a firearm while committing a dangerous felony, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, and driving while a license is revoked or suspended.
It costs $250,000 to release him from the Tipton County Jail.
The Covington/Tipton County Violent Crimes Unit (VCU) and the Sheriff’s Office SWAT and Narcotics Teams were told that Williams was carrying different kinds of drugs on his way from Memphis to the Mason area.
SWAT agents arrested Williams and the woman who was with him, 42-year-old Chandra L. Ayers.
TCSO says they found 38 grams of methamphetamine, 100 ecstasy pills, what might have been fentanyl wrapped in a $50 bill, and a Smith and Wesson 9mm gun in the car.
The charges against Ayers are having a Schedule I drug on purpose, a Schedule II drug on purpose, and a firearm while committing a dangerous felony.
A $10,000 bond is keeping her in jail in Tipton County.
Williams has a dangerous past as well, with charges such as Solicitation of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, and Aggravated Assault.
In court on February 16, Williams and Ayers are scheduled to stand.
