Jamiesfeast – Four individuals who were previously reported missing after an avalanche struck a ski resort in Nevada have been located and confirmed as safe, as per local authorities. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced on X that everyone has been found and is currently being assisted off the mountain. Earlier, the department had stated that a number of people had gone missing following the avalanche at Lee Canyon, a resort situated 35 miles northwest of the city. The search teams were likely to face challenges due to the hazardous conditions caused by heavy snowfall over the past few days, as reported by local station KTNV. Moreover, the area is presently under a winter storm warning, according to the National Weather Service’s local field office. The police have urged the public to avoid traveling in the region until further updates are provided. Clark County authorities have assured that additional information will be shared soon.
