Jamiesfeast – On Sunday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri, a crash occurred involving eleven individuals.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene on Raytown Road, located between East 87th Street and East 90th Terrace, at approximately 1:30 p.m.
According to a representative from the KCMO Fire Department, they had to perform multiple extractions.
The police conducted an investigation into the incident and concluded that a white GMC Acadia and a blue Chevy Malibu were traveling south on Raytown Road at a high rate of speed.
There were two cars that went off the road to the right. The Chevy hit a tree, and the GMC flipped over.
Police said there were seven people in the Chevy, including two kids who were thrown out and two others who were not properly restrained.
According to the KCPD, one toddler was badly hurt and could die, another was critically hurt, and two were seriously hurt.
KCPD said that the driver, who was seriously hurt, is being looked into for possible intoxication.
The adult in the passenger seat was also badly hurt, and the teen in the back seat was hurt but not seriously enough to kill them.
The driver and two other people inside the GMC were hurt, with injuries ranging from “minor to serious,” according to the cops.
Eight ambulances were dispatched to the scene, according to the Raytown Fire Protection District.
