Double Chocolate Rum Balls

These double chocolate rum bars are so simple and easy to prepare! Just perfect for all chocolate lovers – rich, moist, and very delicious! It took me exactly 7 minutes to make them, plus 10 minutes to set. Here is the recipe:

Servings around 24 balls


  • 4 ounces’ dark chocolate
  • 4 ounces’ milk chocolate
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 stick butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 ½ tablespoon dark rum
  • Chocolate sprinkles



  • First, cut the both chocolates into small pieces and melt together over a double boiler or in a microwave until smooth. Remove, transfer to a medium bowl and add in the butter pieces, sugar, and rum. Combine.
  • Next, in a separate bowl put the sprinkles. Take around 1 teaspoon of the chocolate mixture and make a ball, then roll it in the sprinkles until fully coated. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.
  • When you are done, store in an airtight container and refrigerate for 10 minutes to set. Serve.
