Tensions in the Middle East have remained high since the October 7 attack on Israel, which was led by Hamas militants. Throughout this period, the United States has consistently shown strong support for Israel.
According to Richard Grenell, the former U.S. ambassador to Germany, Joe Biden provided Iran with significant financial benefits, including sanctions relief, credit, and cash. However, Grenell believes that Iran took advantage of Biden and Blinken’s actions and carried out multiple attacks in countries such as Syria, Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. Grenell asserts that Biden’s approach could lead to more wars and potentially even a draft for young Americans. In contrast, Grenell argues that Trump’s policies were focused on achieving peace deals.
Robert J. O’Neill, a former U.S. Navy SEAL who asserts that he killed Osama bin Laden, expressed his thoughts on the possibility of President Biden reinstating the draft. In a recent statement, O’Neill mentioned that rumors about the draft being reinstated were circulating, but he emphasized that they were just rumors. With a touch of humor, he added, “Wouldn’t that be fun to watch?”
On Sunday, President Biden confirmed that three U.S. troops lost their lives and numerous others sustained injuries in a drone attack in Jordan.
“We will make every effort to prove ourselves deserving of their honor and bravery. We will continue their dedication to combating terrorism. And rest assured—we will ensure that all those accountable face consequences, on our terms and in our own way.”
“Iran-backed militias are consistently carrying out these ongoing attacks on U.S. forces, and we will retaliate at a time and location that we deem appropriate….The President and I have zero tolerance for assaults on American forces, and we will undertake all essential measures to safeguard the United States, our military personnel, and our interests.”
Biden’s interest in a military draft has not been confirmed, and according to White House national security spokesperson John Kirby, the United States has no intention of engaging in a war with Iran.
However, many other social media users have been speculating about this idea. For instance, @Mericamemed, a user on X platform, expressed their thoughts by stating, “Joe Biden wants WW3 so the democrats can retain power. Their agenda revolves around creating chaos to gain more control over the people. To all the Biden supporters out there, who do you think he will send if a draft is enforced?”
Furthermore, @GulfFLLinda, a user on X platform, expressed their thoughts on the matter by stating, “Should the rumors prove to be accurate, it is crucial for Biden’s draft to encompass individuals of all genders, including men, women, and those who identify with various gender identities that exist in Biden’s America.”
