Armed Robbery Suspects Arrest In New Jersey Following Collaboration Among Multiple Agencies

Jamiesfeast – Law enforcement agencies in New Jersey collaborated effectively to apprehend multiple suspects involved in an armed robbery on February 3. The operation saw the active participation of troopers from the New Jersey State Police’s Troop “B” at both the Somerville and Perryville Stations, as well as officers from the Newark Police Department, Tewksbury Police Department, and Readington Police Department. Their efforts played a vital role in the successful outcome of the operation.

The Newark Police Department initiated the pursuit after tracking a vehicle linked to the suspects. They followed the vehicle westbound on Interstate 78 until it reached the vicinity of I-78 east milepost 25.4 in Tewksbury, Hunterdon County. At this point, the vehicle came to a stop, and six suspects immediately fled on foot.

Working together with the K-9 and Aviation units, law enforcement conducted a swift and thorough search that ultimately resulted in the successful apprehension of all suspects. Furthermore, a firearm was discovered and seized during the operation.
